17.7.2008 | New year 2008 wo-ho! Ciao bella! New Swamp Soccer World Championships 2008 is starting tomorrow. Anu Meininki moved raporting about the event to Virallinen Ottelupäiväkirja to suo.anumeininki.com/mm2008 where you can read about this years happenings and match results easily... in Finnish. Sorry guys, we work hard to maintain english version but it's gonna be mainly Finnish only. But you can see the pictures and look for match result, how cool is that!
15.7.2007 | Finished and glad. Last match result: Defeat. But happy merry weekend. Swamp was very wet and we lost two team members... at least they didn't show up for the morning game after late night sauna singing. So Anu Meininki had a good start but didn't succeed as planned. Made goals were total 9 and goals to own goal total 2. Not too bad. Next year, next year. See ya mates, take care, hooray and cheers!
14.7.2007 | Tomorrow more. Next game, first game of the play-offs, will be played at 9.30 in the morning. Team members are all delighted and excited about playing after a day off. Hearts beat and blood rushes already. Today is the final day of the tournament, and we'll go all the way.
13.7.2007 | Ready for play-offs. Anu Meininki ruled two of the first four games like a human man engine and suffered a bitter defeat. One team didn't show up and was closed from our division. Mola-Ahola had really good game going on and made some quality goals and whole team was in good mood. Funny thing for this year tournament that seems we don't have any games tomorrow Saturday. No work and all fun.
Results updated below. Three wins, one defeat and made goals nine against one!
